"Charlotte"
DOB:
June 7, 1997
BAER
bilateral
Charlotte
was bred by us along with Carrie Jordan of
Daisydot-C Dalmatians.
She had
an exciting AKC conformation class career. A few of the highlights were:
Best Junior in Sweepstakes at the Dalmatian Club of Greater Phoenix, 1998
DCA Futurity 12 to 15 month 2nd place, 1998 DCA Bred
By Exhibitor 1st place, and Best of Winners at the
Puget Sound Dalmatian Club.
We moved
from California back to the East coast, where she made a final charge to
finish at the 1999 Peach Blossom Cluster in Perry Georgia with back to back
major wins. Charlotte finished her championship with all points from the
Bred By Exhibitor class, including a BBE Group 1 in Perry under Edd Bivin.
After much
consideration, we decided Charlotte will not be bred due to the
health problems in the
litter. She
still is what we consider our visual "type" of Dalmatian although
we'd prefer a little different temperament.
Charlotte earned her USDAA Starters (AD), Starters Standard,
Starters Snooker, and Performance 1 Standard titles in 2005. She would
also have earned her PD1 as she has qualified in all the classes - except
she did it all in one weekend under only 2 judges! Unfortunately, you must
have q'd under 3 judges, so she needed one more P1 standard q
under a different judge which she picked up shortly after that weekend.
Charlotte Q's 6
out of 6 in October 2005 to earn her NAP and NJP titles. Through Sept & Oct
2005 she has Q'd 13 out of 15 runs - only blowing those other 2 runs because
her handler's strategy was really wrong!! She finished 2005 as the #7 ranked
Novice Preferred JWW Dalmatian and the #6 ranked Novice Preferred Standard
Dalmatian.
By the Fall 2006 Charlotte
completed her OJP title as well as picking up several JWW legs. She
finished 2006 ranked as the #1 Open Preferred Jumpers With Weaves Dalmatian
in AKC.
February 2008 - Charlotte finished her Novice
Preferred FAST title in 3 straight runs and 3 blue ribbons! We've decided
that we should retire her from competing while still winning. She'll still
exercise on the equipment at home and may occasionally come out in the
conformation veteran's ring if we have time.
