Collins is our very affectionate boy who knew he was staying with us from
the very start.
As a baby, Collins exhibited his powerful, flowing side gait as soon as he
learned to trot. His second weekend showing garnered a major from the 6-9
month puppy class and a Group placement in the Best Puppy in Show competition
at the Kennel Club of Palm Springs.
Unfortunately, he did not see conformation as fun and we decided to retire him from that ring. Since then his health took a severe turn for the worse. He developed severe temporomandibular muscle atrophy (muscles in his head/jaw area spontaneously shrunk) and other autoimmune system related disorders. Collins lost his battle with his health problems on October 17, 2001
